What is Zeyter Bug Designs?
I started Zeyter Bug Designs in August of 2004. My designs have come
from my experiences in Tole painting from the late 70's and are filled
with my love of flowers and bugs, emerging into the new medium of
glass fusing. My many years in elementary education have also influenced me
greatly in that the whimsical and lively "kid" art that I was so long exposed to,
influences my approach and styling to each Zeyter Bug fused glass item.
- Each Zeyter Bug is crafted of embellished, hammered copper wire.
- Each piece is individually cut, and crafted by the artist.
- All hinges are twisted brass, and are unqiue to Zeyter Bug Designs.
- Each item is individually signed by the artist.
All of my pieces are cut and crafted individually, uniquely, by hand. I take great pride in my work and can assure that every last detail meets my firm standards: from the twisted brass wire bails to the handpicking of my raw glass products.
